The Johnson County portion of Adrian is part of the Dublin Micropolitan Statistical Area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), of which, 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) of it (3.50%) is water. As of the census of 2010, there were 558 people, 230 households, and 163 families residing in the city. The population density was 419.3 people per square mile (162.0/kmē).
