According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2), of which, 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2) of it is land and 0.88% is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 788 people, 281 households, and 202 families residing in the town. The population density was 694.3 people per square mile (269.2/kmē).
