Annapolis is a city that was nearly wiped out by the Great Tri-State Tornado in 1925 located in Iron County, Missouri, United States. The population was 310 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 310 people, 136 households, and 84 families residing in the city. The population density was 815.5 people per square mile (315.0/km²). There were 161 housing units at an average density of 423.5 per square mile (163.6/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.35% White, 0.32% Native American, and 0.32% from two or more races.
