Aroma Park (formerly Waldron) is a village in Kankakee County, Illinois, along the Kankakee River opposite the mouth of the Iroquois River. Aroma Park's population was 821 at the 2000 census. It is included in the Kankakee-Bradley, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area. Aroma Park is located at 41°4?44?N 87°48?19?W? / ?41.07889°N 87.80528°W? / 41.07889; -87.80528 (41.078981, -87.805363). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), of which, 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) of it (13.04%) is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 821 people, 308 households, and 222 families residing in the village. The population density was 684.1 people per square mile (264.2/kmē). There were 314 housing units at an average density of 261.7 per square mile (101.0/kmē).
