According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.2 km²), of which, 2.3 square miles (5.9 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (5.42%) is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 608 people, 257 households, and 159 families residing in the village. The population density was 267.8 people per square mile (103.4/km²).
