As of the census of 2000, there were 743 people, 275 households, and 196 families residing in the village. The population density was 891.0 people per square mile (345.6/kmē). There were 286 housing units at an average density of 343.0 per square mile (133.0/kmē). The racial makeup of the village was 98.65% White, 0.13% African American, 0.13% Native American, 0.27% Asian, and 0.81% from two or more races.
