According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2), of which, 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2) of it is land and 1.89% is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 465 people, 187 households, and 120 families residing in the village. The population density was 904.1 people per square mile (352.0/km²). There were 193 housing units at an average density of 375.3 per square mile (146.1/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.14% White, and 0.86% from two or more races.
