According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 214 people, 97 households, and 70 families residing in the town. The population density was 160.9 people per square mile (62.1/km2). There were 111 housing units at an average density of 83.4 per square mile (32.2/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 97.20% White, 0.93% Black or African American, 1.40% from other races, and 0.47% from two or more races. 1.40% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
