Bell City is a city in Stoddard County, Missouri, United States. Originally founded as a sawmill town around 1900, Bell City lies at the foothills of Crowley's Ridge on Missouri Route 91. The population of Bell City was 461 at the 2000 census, and the town currently has no mayor. Bell City is located at 37°1?26?N 89°49?10?W? / ?37.02389°N 89.81944°W? / 37.02389; -89.81944 (37.023820, -89.819457). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all of it land.
