Bellevue is a city in Blaine County in the central part of the U.S. state of Idaho. The population was 2,287 at the 2010 census, up from 1,876 in 2000. It is located in the Wood River Valley, about 18 miles (29 km) south of the resort area of Ketchum and Sun Valley. The city of Hailey and the airport are a few miles north of Bellevue. The Big Wood River flows near downtown. Bellevue is located at 43°27?54?N 114°15?24?W? / ?43.465°N 114.25667°W? / 43.465; -114.25667 (43.465019, -114.256755), at an elevation of 5,170 feet (1,576 m) above sea level. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), all of it land. The city is served by State Highway 75, a two-lane undivided highway that connects Shoshone to Challis.
