Bentley is a city in Sedgwick County, Kansas, United States. It is named in honor of the cities founder Orsemus Hills Bentley. Bentley was established as a town in 1888, but it wasn?t incorporated until 1959. The cities founder was Orsemus Hills Bentley, who was a well-known lawyer, historian, author and leader in Wichita during the 1880s. He also served on the board of the Kansas Midland Railway, which used to run though the city of Bentley. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2), all of it land.
