According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.3 kmē), of which, 1.1 square miles (2.9 kmē) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.4 kmē) of it (12.50%) is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 518 people, 227 households, and 142 families residing in the village. The population density was 459.7 people per square mile (177.0/kmē). There were 269 housing units at an average density of 238.7 per square mile (91.9/kmē).
