Bonanza is a city in Klamath County, Oregon, United States near Klamath Falls. The population was 415 at the 2010 census. Bonanza is an agricultural community with large areas of alfalfa, cattle, and dairy farm use. It is home to Bonanza High School, Bonanza is located at the east end of Oregon Route 70, the shortest state highway in Oregon, and is approximately 25 miles from Klamath Falls. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), all land. As of 2010 Bonanza had 415 residents. The median age was 34.5. There were 152 households. The racial and ethnic composition of the population was 69.6% non-Hispanic white, 0.2% black, 0.5% Native American, 3.4% from two or more races and 27.7% Hispanic or Latino.
