Boyle is located at 33°42?17?N 90°43?33?W? / ?33.70472°N 90.72583°W? / 33.70472; -90.72583 (33.704729, -90.725824). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all land. As of the census of 2000, there were 720 people, 268 households, and 191 families residing in the town. The population density was 712.8 people per square mile (275.2/km²). There were 290 housing units at an average density of 287.1 per square mile (110.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 52.78% White, 45.14% African American, 0.14% Asian, 0.14% Pacific Islander, 1.11% from other races, and 0.69% from two or more races.
