According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 148 people, 67 households, and 39 families residing in the city. The population density was 251.3 people per square mile (96.9/km²). There were 90 housing units at an average density of 152.8 per square mile (58.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White. 61.1% were of Norwegian and 21.4% German ancestry according to Census 2000.
