Cayuga is a city in Sargent County, North Dakota in the United States. It sits on the banks of the Wild Rice River. The population was 27 at the 2010 census. Cayuga was founded in 1887. Cayuga is located at 46°4?29?N 97°23?12?W? / ?46.07472°N 97.38667°W? / 46.07472; -97.38667 (46.074752, -97.386725). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 61 people, 26 households, and 13 families residing in the city. The population density was 61.8 people per square mile (23.8/km²). There were 32 housing units at an average density of 32.4 per square mile (12.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.72% White, and 3.28% from two or more races.
