It is located at Coordinates: 59°2?48?N 158°30?31?W? / ?59.04667°N 158.50861°W? / 59.04667; -158.50861 (59.046751, -158.508665). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 35.7 square miles (92.6 km²). 33.6 square miles (87.1 km²) of it is land and 2.1 square miles (5.5 km²) of it (5.93%) is water. Dillingham is located in the 37th district of the Alaska House of Representatives, and is represented by Bryce Edgmon, a Democrat who himself is from Dillingham.
