Duchesne (pronounced /du???e?n/) is a city in and the county seat of Duchesne County, Utah, United States. The population was 1,408 at the 2000 census. Duchesne is located at 40°9?52?N 110°24?2?W? / ?40.16444°N 110.40056°W? / 40.16444; -110.40056 (40.164388, -110.400607). just west of the junction of the Strawberry and Duchesne rivers in the Uintah Basin of northeastern Utah.
